1.  All puppies are registered (or eligible for registration) and AKC papers provided at the time of sale. Companion puppies are sold on a limited registration basis. We do not require co-ownership.

2.  We choose our puppies between 8 and 10 weeks of age. For that reason we may not be able to tell you exactly which puppies will be available until that time. We make every effort to be quick, because we know you are waiting (impatiently!) and if we know for sure that we are not considering ‘your’ puppy, we will let you know ASAP.

3.  We cannot guarantee that your first choice puppy will be the one you get. We try to match each puppy and family as closely as possible. There may be times when your home/family environment or schedule is not a good match with a specific puppy’s temperament. If that happens, we will tell you exactly where the mismatch is and suggest a puppy that is the best match for you. Remember, we WANT you to have a Besame puppy and we want you and the puppy to live happily ever after!

4.  Besame Whippets accepts a $200 deposit for puppies after an application has been approved. Deposits are fully refundable. A deposit guarantees you a puppy – not a specific puppy or gender.

5.  We are happy to keep your puppy for you beyond 10 weeks if travel requirements or family circumstances dictate as long as your puppy has been paid for and ownership transferred at 10 weeks.

6.  Each puppy comes with:

        a.      4 generation pedigree

b.      Instruction sheets (what you need, how to care for your whippet, etc.)

c.      Permanent Identification (microchip)

d.   Special whippet puppy collar and lead

e.      ID collar & tag

f.       Special toy with Mom’s scent

g.      Health Records

                                                            i.      All puppies are UTD on vaccinations

                                                           ii.      All puppies have been de-wormed

                                                          iii.      All puppies have received their first heartworm treatment

7.  Puppies leaving Besame have been lead, crate, and house trained (but may not be perfect!)

8.  Upon sale of the puppy you get

a.     Copy of the contract/ bill of sale

b.     AKC registration papers or transfer form

c.      Microchip transfer paperwork

d.     1 week supply of the food your puppy has been eating here

e.      Packet of educational material on caring for your whippet puppy

9.  After the sale of the puppy you get unlimited access to Besame! We are always here to help you!
